Title:
LIQUID EJECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3715516
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce floating or further converge a liquid being ejected by urging ejected liquid toward an adhering object.
SOLUTION: Conductive ink 21 has a liquid face 21a exposed at the nozzle hole 31 of a conductive nozzle plate 3. The ink 21 is shaken by an ultrasonic wave generating means 1 to generate a fine surface wave on the liquid face 21a before being ejected from the nozzle hole 31 as a group 7 of misty microparticles of liquid. A back face electrode 4 provided oppositely to the nozzle hole 31 with respect to a print sheet 200 is fed with a potential different from that being fed to the nozzle hole 31 and a field is formed between them. Since an ejected group 7 of microparticles of liquid has been charged, it is urged by that field to adheres to the print sheet 200.
