PURPOSE: To enable α-type hemihydrate gypsum to be used as a raw material and to make drying energy to a small quantity by providing a plurality of pins to the liquid feed blade of at least a quantitative feeder and imparting shearing force to slurry.
CONSTITUTION: An admixture such as α-type hemihydrate gypsum and glass fiber and a binder are taken out on a screen and both water and a foaming material are mixed with these by a pin mill in a slurry tank and the mixture is allowed to flow into a molding machine for producing a gypsum board. In the case of feeding slurry to the molding machine from this slurry tank, a quantitative feeder 19 and a slurry distributor 20 are used. In this case, shearing force is imparted to slurry by studding a plurality of pins 22 to the liquid feeding blade 21 of at least the quantitative feeder 19 and uniform dynamic energy can be always imparted to whole slurry by the shearing force due to these pins 22 and therefore slurry having fluidity is obtained even in low mixed water.
