Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sterilize the inside of the mouth of a container and prevent a heat deformation of the container, by feeding and sealing a liquid which has been sterilized and adjusted to a particular temperature into a heat-shrinkable soft resin container and then by starting a gradual cooling process within a particular number of minutes after the start of the liquid-filling process.
CONSTITUTION: After a sterilized liquid is adjusted to a temperature of 70-75°C, it is fed into a heat-shrinkable soft resin container, and the opening of the container is sealed with a cap. The liquid is fed into the container in such a way that air remaining in the container is almost removed, that is, an empty space is not left in it. As the cap, one that has been sterilized by ultraviolet irradiation is used. After the sealing process, the container is overturned to sterilize the rear (inside) of the cap by means of the liquid in it. The container filled with the liquid is gradually cooled to a particular temperature; however, the length of time from the start of the liquid-filling process to the start of the gradual cooling process is within five minutes. This prevents a deformation of the heat-shrinkable soft resin container.
