Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet apparatus capable of preventing air bubbles from moving into a passage during wiping.SOLUTION: A liquid jet apparatus includes: a head 1 which jets an ink from a nozzle 13 provided at a nozzle plate 14; a rotary mechanism 50 which rotates the head 1; a wiping member 60 which wipes a surface of the nozzle plate 14; and a control unit which controls the rotary mechanism 50 so that the nozzle plate 14 faces upward in a vertical direction and causes the wiping member 60 to wipe the surface of the nozzle plate 14.
