PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid jet recording head capable of eliminating problems of cracking of a substrate and a variation in delivery amount between nozzles causing an unevenness in printing and capable of starting a smooth delivery even after the head is left to stand in outside air by improving the position and structure of a liquid supply path in the substrate.
CONSTITUTION: Delivery ports (7a) are disposed opposedly to electrothemal conversion elements (2). A liquid supply path (4) connecting to the group of the elements is made of a recess, i.e., a channel, crossing a substrate (1). The liquid supply path is provided with liquid supply ports (3) for supplying liquid from the both ends of the substrate. In addition, electrodes (5, 6) connecting to the electrothermal conversion elements may be installed on the substrate along either the both sections having no supply port (3) or one section having the supply port (3).
