Title:
LIQUID JET RECORDING HEAD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03164259
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid at jet recording head capable of obtaining a high response frequency by a method wherein a ferromagnetic particle dispersed liquid which circulates in a flow path, and a magnetic field generating means which is installed near the flow path, is constant in intensity of magnetic fields, and has a partial magnetic field inclination, are established.

CONSTITUTION: A recording head is composed of a discharge opening 10 and a flow path 12 equipped with a thermal operation part 11, and the inside of the liquid path 12 is filled with liquid via a supply opening 13 and a liquid chamber 14. Grooves 17 are arranged on both sides of an arranged part of the flow path 12 of a substrate 15. A metal wire 18 having the grooves 17 as a fixing end means is wound around a plurality of the flow paths 12 arranged laterally so as to enclose them in order to form a solenoid. A winding of the metal wire 18 is made different in density in the flow path 12 direction. A ferromagnetic particle dispersed liquid in the flow path 12 is excited by an electric current flowing to the solenoid, and magnetic force due to a magnetic field having a partial inclination parallel to the flow path 12 acts on said intensity. By making the magnetic field having an inclination act on the ferromagnetic particle dispersed liquid, a high response frequency can be obtained, and highly minute recording becomes capable of being performed.
