Abstract:
To provide a liquid lead-acid battery that can minimize the excess amount of refilled water even when water is refilled beyond the maximum position of a specified liquid level.SOLUTION: A liquid lead-acid battery according to the present invention includes an electric tank 1 with a plurality of cell chambers 4, an electrode plate group stored together with electrolyte in plurality of cell chambers, and a lid 2 that seals the top surface of the electric tank. The lid 2 has an injection port for an electrolyte formed at each position above the plurality of cell chambers of an upper plate 24. The injection port has a through hole 241 penetrating the upper plate 24 and a sleeve 25 extending toward the cell chamber side and continuous with the through hole. Further, the liquid lead-acid battery according to the present invention is provided with a plug for closing the injection port, and is designed such that the position of the end face 252 on the cell chamber side of the sleeve 25 is the same as a specified liquid level maximum position P1 of the electrolyte, and the sleeve 25 has a mark 25b indicating a liquid level limit position P2 higher than the specified liquid level maximum position P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
