Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a liquid level detector where a lead switch can be fixed to a fixed position in a detection cylinder with a simple and sufficient pull strength.
CONSTITUTION: A level detector is provided with a case 2 which is mounted to the bottom in a tank 1 and where a detection cylinder 4 is provided inside an outer cylinder 3, a lead switch 7 which is connected to the tip of a cable 8 and is inserted into the detection cylinder 4 from the lower part of the case 2, and a float 9 with magnet which is fitted on the outer-periphery part of the detection cylinder 4 so that the float 9 can move up and down freely. A fixing metal fitment 10 is mounted to one portion of the cable 8, a gear-lock part 6 with an insertion part for inserting the fixing metal fitment 10 is provided at the lower portion of the case 2, at the same time a gear-lock hole 7 is provided on the side wall of the gear-lock part 6, and a check piece 10a for gear- locking to a gear-lock hole is provided at the fixing metal fitment 10 when inserting it to an insertion part.
