Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable positive inspection of a liquid level even for a transparent liquid free from the effect of a thread and shape of a container, by scanning the top surface of the container with an image sensor to detect a gas-liquid interface line. CONSTITUTION:With a reference input assigning switch 19 ON, a reference transparent container 14 is carried below an image sensor 12 with a belt converter 11. A container arrival sensor 13 detects the transparent container 14 to activate the image sensor 12 and a detection signal by scanning therewith is stored into a memory 21 as reference data through a signal input section 18. Then, with the switch 19 OFF, the top surface of the transparent container 14 to be inspected is likewise canned with the image sensor 12 and a detection signal thereof is compared with the reference data previously stored by a propriety judging section 22. Depending on the results of the comparison, an alarm 25 is operated through a reject alarm output section 23.
