Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain liquid storage equipment in a low construction cost, by holding liquid for adjustment in a shell body and submerging a bag-form tank having a strength against the liquid pressure acting from both inside and outside thereof. SOLUTION: A bag-form tank 4 made of a flexible material is submerged in the liquid 7 for adjustment held in a crust body 3 to shield and retain the storage liquid 16 in the bag-form tank by means of a membrane 14, in liquid storage equipment 1. And hence, what is necessary is that the membrane 14 has a strength withstanding the pressure difference between both inside and outside liquid. In the case when the storage liquid 16 is a Oninoco tar-emulsion and the liquid 7 for adjustmnet is seawater, for instance, both specific gravities are almost equal to each other and hence, the liquid pressure acting from the inside is equal to the liquid pressure acting from the outside, at the membrane 14 of the bag-form tank 4. Accordingly, extremely costless equipment having a large storage capacity can be erected in comparison with conventional steel structure tanks.
