Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately suppress the leak of an electrolyte solution from a fixing part even if the fixing part has been subjected to aging or change in shape.SOLUTION: A lithium ion battery has a unit cell arranged by laminating a positive electrode current collector, a positive electrode active material layer, a separator, a negative electrode active material layer and a negative electrode current collector in turn, and including an electrolyte solution. The lithium ion battery further has a fixing part disposed between the positive and negative electrode current collectors, fixing a peripheral edge of the separator between the positive and negative electrode current collectors, and sealing the positive electrode active material layer, the separator, and the negative electrode active material layer. In the lithium ion battery, an electrolyte solution absorber which absorbs the electrolyte solution and holds at least a part thereof is provided between the fixing part and the positive electrode current collector and/or the negative electrode current collector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
