PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion negative electrode for a secondary battery, in which the worsening of a performance, accompanying a high rate cycle is suppressed.SOLUTION: A lithium ion negative electrode for a secondary battery comprises a negative electrode mixture layer including a granulated material. The negative electrode mixture layer has a density of 0.90-1.50 g/cm. The negative electrode mixture layer is 3.0-13.4% in 85-degree relative specular glossiness of its surface.SELECTED DRAWING: None
