Abstract:

To provide a lithium ion secondary battery of long life with capacity degradation and inner resistance increase restrained by restraining elution of an aluminum collector used for an electrode plate into electrolyte solution.

The lithium ion secondary battery is provided with a case 5, electrolyte solution filled in the case 5, and a cathode plate 1 as well as an anode plate 2 dipped in the electrolyte solution. The cathode plate 1 and the anode plate 2 consist of an electrode active material layer and a collector, and at least one of the collectors is constituted of aluminum with the surface covered only with aluminum fluoride, which restrains elution of aluminum of the collector.
