PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery having an exterior structure arranged by use of a laminate film and improved in reliability concerning a high-temperature shelf life and the like.SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery according to an embodiment comprises an electrolyte which contains 0.1-10 mass% of a compound expressed by the chemical formula 1. [In the formula 1, R1 represents an alkyl group with C1-C4 or an aromatic ring; and R2 to R4 represent an alkyl group with C1-C4.]
