Abstract:
To provide a lithographic printing original forme for direct plate making excellent in scratch resistance and in discrimination of a formed image.
The lithographic printing original forme is obtained by sequentially stacking on a support a positive recording layer containing a water-insoluble but alkali-soluble resin, an infrared absorbing agent and an ionic compound and having solubility in an alkaline aqueous solution increased by infrared laser exposure and a protective layer which protects the positive recording layer, wherein the protective layer contains at least one ionic compound.
