Abstract:
To improve security of fingerprint data of a user when various service such as withdrawal of cash by the user is provided by authenticating a person on the basis of a fingerprint of the user.
The fingerprint data of the user oneself is registered in a fingerprint token 200 possessed by the user and the account number of the user is stored in the fingerprint token. When fingerprint data read by a fingerprint sensor 202 of the fingerprint token coincides with the registered data, the stored account number is transmitted to an automatic teller machine 101. The automatic teller machine 101 acquires a balance corresponding to the account number from a database 110 and pays out the cash corresponding to the balance.
