PURPOSE: To smoothly transfer a carrier along a rope by operating a cam plate so as to push up a brake shaft, and freely rotating a frame and a rope wrapping connector wheel, and stop the carrier by releasing the operation of the cam plate so as to pressingly contact the brake shaft with the rope wrapping connector wheel.

CONSTITUTION: A rope 14 is laid among a plurality of trees 30 or the like standing at prescribed intervals, and equipment and materials are carried by means of a carrier 10 movable along the rope. In this case, the carrier 10 is constituted of a frame F having a load suspending part 12, and a rope wrapping connector wheel 13 rotatably supported with a pivotally supporting shaft 17 vertically movable against the frame. Further brake shafts 15 pressing against the rope wrapping connector wheel 13 when the frame F is brought down by its dead weight, are mounted on the frame F side. The brake shafts 15 are transferred to a non-press-contact position by pushing up movement of the frame F by a cam plate 19 arranged on the pivotally supporting shaft 17 side. Hereby accompanying operation and release of the cam plate 19, smooth transfer and sure stop of the carrier 10 are easily selected.
