Abstract:
The invention provides a load control device that can prevent the power supply voltage supplied by the output voltage of a buffer portion from dropping below a predetermined voltage. A load control device (1) is equipped with: a switch portion (2); a switch control portion (4); a rectifier circuit (10); a wireless portion (5); a buffer portion (14); and a control portion (17). The switch portion (2) is configured to connect and disconnect an AC power supply (B1) and a load (Q1). The switch control portion (4) controls the switch portion (2). The conversion portion (10) converts the AC power supplied by the AC power supply (B1) into DC power. The wireless portion (5) is actuated by using the DC power converted by the rectifier circuit (10) and then wireless communication is performed between the wireless portion (5) and an external communication device. The buffer portion (14) is charged in a dischargeable manner by using the DC power converted by the rectifier circuit (10) and then can discharge the stored power to the wireless portion (5) as DC power. The control portion (17) controls the wireless portion (5) based on the output voltage (V4) of the buffer portion (14).
