PURPOSE: To control a load even in a remote control switch circuit, and prevent the unnecessary continuation of feed to the load during the absence.

CONSTITUTION: A load control device has a card switch CS and a remote control relay PR for load control, and also a remote control relay driving circuit DR for ON-driving the remote control relay PR in reply to the ON-signal of the card switch CS when the remote control relay PR is in OFF state, and OFF-driving the remote control relay PR in reply to the OFF-signal of the card switch CS when the remote control relay PR is in ON-state. A remote control switch circuit RS for ON/OFF driving the remote control relay PR to reverse the ON/OFF state of the remote control relay PR every operation of a built-in switch SW2 is provided in parallel to the remote control relay driving circuit DR. Further, this device has a switch element X4 for separating the remote control switch circuit RS from the remote control relay PR in reply to the OFF-signal of the card switch CS.
