Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the detecting accuracy of the title detecting body by forming the flexible section of the detecting body by broaching work and burnishing. CONSTITUTION:Each flexible section 5 and hollow section 6 is formed by forming a hollow square-columnar blank 10 by blow extrusion, etc., and performing broaching works using a broach 11 and burnishing. Then the blank 10 is sliced to a prescribed width as shown by the one-dot chain line and a load detecting body is produced. When such manufacturing processes are applied, the smoothness can be improved and the fatigue strength and surface hardness can be increased and, as a result, the spring constant of the flexible section can be reduced and the life of the section can be made longer. Therefore, when the flexible section 5 is formed to the same strength as that of conventional ones, the wall thickness can be reduced and, accordingly, the spring constant can be reduced and the detecting accuracy can be improved.
