Abstract:

To provide a load drive circuit that, in using a plurality of parallel-connected semiconductor switches connected in series with a load, even if one of the semiconductor switches turns off, protects the other semiconductor switches from damage.

The load drive circuit in which a plurality of semiconductor switches 2, 3 having one or more anomaly detection means 2a, 3a for outputting an anomaly signal when detecting an anomaly are interposed in parallel in a line connecting a power supply VB and a load 1, and which turns on or off the semiconductor switches 2, 3 via a driving signal to the load 1 includes: an OR circuit (12, 13) for outputting a logical sum of anomaly signals output by the anomaly detection means 2a, 3a; and a holding circuit 9 for holding the output of the OR circuit (12, 13) and turning off all the semiconductor switches 2, 3 via the output held.
