Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable expansion speed of a hydraulic cylinder to be maintained constant by making the discharge quantity of one of two hydraulic pumps constant the setting the discharge quantity of the other pump at a difference in the discharge quantity per unit time between the head side and the rod side of the hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The rod side port 1b and the head side port 1a of a hydraulic cylinder 1 are connected to respective ports 2a, 2b of the first hydraulic pump 2, while one port 3a of the second hydraulic pump 3 is connected to the port 2a of the first hydraulic pump 2. The discharge quantity of the first hydraulic pump 2 is maintained constant, while the discharge quantity of the second hydraulic pump 3 is set at the quantity corresponding to a difference in the discharge quantity per unit time between the head side and the rod side of the hydraulic cylinder 1. Therefore, in whichever direction the hydraulic cylinder 1 moves, speed of the movement can be made constant.
