Abstract:

To provide an on-load tap changer which is housed inside such transformer vessel as a small pole transformer.

To first and second frames 11 and 12, fixed contact points 1-10 are fixed, respectively. A movable contact-point conductor 15 is rotated by a driving force generation mechanism 16 to change tap. Current limiting resistors R1 and R2 are provided between connection points CP1 and CP2 of intermediate fixing contact point pairs 7, 8 and 9, 10, and, fixing contact points 2 and 5 which constitute the second tap changing fixed contact-point pair, respectively. The driving force generation mechanism 16 comprises a rotary plate 14, a spring member 19 and a transmission mechanism, and the movable contact- point conductor 15 is instantly moved by utilizing spring force. At a periphery part of the rotary plate 14, a cam curve part 23 which controls accumulation and release of energy of the spring member 19 is provided.
