Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost, size and weight of a load transmission device, and to improve flexibility thereof.
SOLUTION: A nut 1 is provided with a first load bearing member 4 having a screw hole 6 to be screwed to a bolt 2 and a cylinder 7, and a second load bearing member 5 having a fastening surface 8 contacting with a fastened member 3 and a piston 9. A pressure chamber 10 comparted by the cylinder 7 and the piston 9 is filled with many balls B1 made of a steel material and whose surfaces are lubricated with grease. Since these balls B1 have fluidity within the pressure chamber 10, a load applied to the balls B1 by screwing in a bolt 12 for input is transmitted to the cylinder 7 and the piston 9 through the balls B1, and a tensile force is applied to the bolt 2 by moving the first load bearing member 4 to an axial direction against the second load bearing member 5.
