PURPOSE: To lessen generation of noise, vibration, trouble, etc., and facilitate maintenance and management by furnishing a dolly with a secondary conductor, which can confront a linear motor any as desired, and a current collector which receives current feed from a current feeding rail.
CONSTITUTION: Following a certain path, each dolly 1 runs at a specified speed through utilization of the magnetic attractive and repulsive forces generated by a linear motor 30 and a secondary conductor 43. In the condition that the current for a servo motor 66 is fed from a current feeding rail 35 via a current collector 79 and a wiring line, the servo motor 66 is precisely rotated normally reversely with the aid of a control device 72 in conformity to the signal which is given to the control device 72 from a photo-transmission unit 71. Objects on a belt 65 are sorted and discharged onto a chute. Therein a plurality of such dollies 1 are coupled together by coupling devices 75 to form an endless train, and run on the specified path. Each coupling device 75 is fitted between a vertical pin 45 at the tail of the preceding dolly 1 and another one 45 at the foremost of the following dolly 1.
