Abstract:

PURPOSE: To attain n:n data communication by utilizing an RS-232C interface loaded to a computer as standard so as to build up a bus type local area network.

CONSTITUTION: Signal conversion adaptors A1-A3 converts RD and SD signals for an RS-232C interface into an RS-485 signal and the converted RS-485 signal is given to a bus type serial transmission line. Each of communication nodes N1-N3 are connected to the bus serial transmission line by using the RS-232C interfaces R1-R3 equipped with each communication node and the signal conversion adaptors A1-A3. Thus, all communication nodes connecting to the bus type serial transmission line receive a data sent from one optional communication node simultaneously. Thus, n:n communication is attained.
