Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stop the entire apparatus when any motor is locked by providing a common locking resistor at a plurality of motors for driving via individual control circuits, and comparing the detected value with a reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of DC motors 1 for driving sections of an air conditioner for a vehicle are connected in parallel with a power source 2, relays 4 are operated by the outputs from individual controllers 3 to drive the motors 1. A lock detecting resistor 5 is connected commonly to the circuits of the motor 1, the detected value is compared by a comparator 10 with the reference voltage of a reference voltage selector 7 in a motor drive stop signal generator 6, and an output is generated when a locked state occurs in any motor to control the controller 3, thereby stopping the entire motor 1. Accordingly, the burnout of the motors 1 can be prevented previously and effectively.
