Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the opening of an admission notch and prevent the opening of a back door by forming the case of a lock device with a storage case and a metal cover material, shaft-stopping a latch and a ratchet in the case, forming the admission notch at the center between an erect front wall and a bottom wall, and forming an erect rear wall into a circular arc wall.
SOLUTION: When a back door is closed, the coupling rod of a striker fixed to a vehicle body enters an admission notch 14 formed between the erect front wall 11 and bottom wall 12 of a storage case, and it is coupled with the striker coupling groove 15 of a latch 9. The latch 9 is rotated, and a ratchet 10 is coupled with a full-latch coupling step section 17 into a full-latch to prevent the reverse rotation of the latch 9. Even if an impact is applied in the door opening direction after the back door is closed, an erect rear wall 13 is merely set to a linear wall and is not curved, the admission notch 14 is not opened, and the latch 9 is prevented from being extracted. Even if a strong load is applied in the door opening direction, the opening of the back door can be completely prevented.
