To provide a lock device allowing operation of two dead bolts by a small operating load.
A lock device includes: first and second lock cases having a first dead bolt 13 and a second dead bolt both of which can be freely protruded/retracted; a gear-appended drive plate 59 that is disposed in the first lock case, is rotated by manual rotating force or the like and protrudes/retracts the first dead bolt 13; an output gear 117 moving with the gear-appended drive plate 59 and having an engagement pin 119 fixed on its side face; a slider 27 disposed freely slidably in the first lock case and protrudes/retracts the second dead bolt of the second lock case with a linear sliding motion via a connecting rod; and an oblong hole 125 that is formed in the slider 27, into which the engagement pin 119 is inserted, and allows a slider 27 to slide via the engagement pin 119. Further, the oblong hole 125 has a play portion 127 formed along a rotational movement locus of the engagement pin 119 for delaying transmission, to the slider 27, of a rotation of the gear-appended drive plate 59 that protrudes/retract the first dead bolt 13.
