Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent amplification and propagation of floor impact sounds and produce sound isolation and vibration isolation effects by interposing a vibration-isolating material between a floor material and a header and/or between the surface of a wall and header and causing a space under the floor to communicate with a space above the floor.
CONSTITUTION: By constructing a floor material 1 so as to be spaced apart from the surface of a floor base 11 such as a concrete slab by a predetermined spacing, a space 12 under the floor is formed. In this case, the end of the floor material 1 is supported by a header 2 near a wall 10 and a base board 3 is provided on the near the wall 10. In this floor structure, vibration-isolating materials 5, 6 are interposed between the floor material 1 and the header 2 spaced apart from the wall 10 and/or between the wall 10 and the header 2. A first air passage 8 is provided through the base board 3 to interconnect a space 4 formed between the surface of the wall 10 and the material 1 and a space above the floor, and further a second air passage 7 is provided to interconnect the space 4 and the space 12. As a result, the air in the space 12 is not compressed or expanded, so that amplification of vibration can be restrained.
