Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable adaptation even to a rectangular locking/unlocking shaft with a long side as long as or longer than one side of a square locking/unlocking shaft, by fitting and inserting an adapter into an insertion hole into which the square locking/unlocking shaft is to be fitted and inserted.
SOLUTION: In a lock device, a lock cam, which enables locking/unlocking, is provided in a lock body; the locking/unlocking shaft and the adapter can be fitted and inserted into the insertion hole which is provided in the lock cam; the insertion hole is formed in such a manner that an outward protruded hole is continuously provided in the center of at least a pair of mutually opposed sides of an almost square hole for the locking/unlocking shaft; and the adapter is provided with a protrusive strip part which is to be fitted and inserted into the protruded hole, and a hole for the almost rectangular locking/unlocking shaft from one protrusive strip part to the other protrusive strip part.
