To solve the problem that independent rising adjustment (for adjusting the offset of a column joint and maintaining the vertical precision of a column) cannot be made easily for every steel pipe column.

This lock joint device comprises a pair of lock parts 1, 1 for connecting erection pieces, horizontally thrusting means 2 for horizontally thrusting the erection pieces and lean adjusting means for vertically thrusting the erection pieces. The lean adjusting means 3 has a seat body 3a for contacting the erection pieces at their lower ends and vertical adjusting means 8 for displacing the lock parts 1, 1 up and down. The vertical adjusting means 8 preferably uses a screw jack in which a worm gear horizontally assembled on a jack case 8a via a bearing and a vertical spiral shaft vertically assembled via the worm gear are provided.
