Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock mechanism for a tubular body in which the tubular body can be locked against a housing under a single operation and a double-locked state can be positively maintained and acknowledged through visual inspection.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a lock mechanism 10 for a tubular body comprising a housing 13 in which a tubular body 12 including an engaging part 11 is installed in at least one end; a lock member 14 capable of locking and releasing the housing and the tubular body; and a ring member 15 rotatably attached to an outer circumference of the housing to enable the lock member to move toward a lock position and a releasing position. Engagement and releasing between an engaging part 16 of the ring member and an engaged part 17 of the housing cause the lock member to move toward the lock position together with the ring member to release or lock the tubular body. After locking, as the ring member is slid in an axial direction of the tubular body, a fitted part 18 arranged at the ring member is fitted to the fitted part 19 arranged at the housing to prevent rotation of the ring member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
