Title:
LOCK NAIL HAVING FREELY ADJUSTABLE OPENING PART FOR LOCK SCREW
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3180071
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock nail, which is to be arranged inside the medullary space of tubular bone for the treatment of fracture, having a practically cylindrical slender shunk equipped with a lot of opening parts practically radially extended for accepting a lock screw.
SOLUTION: At least one slender radial opening part is extended in the lengthwise direction of shunk 12 and at least two sliding blocks 14, 16 (and 18) are guided so as not to be rotated inside the shunk 12 and fixed so as not to be mutually moved away. Therefore, at least one opening part 10 at a prescribed angle to the lengthwise direction is formed from at least one intermediate space among the sliding blocks 14, 16 (and 18). This opening part is matched with the slender opening part for accepting a lock screw 22.
