To constitute a torsional vibration damper in a lock-up circuit in compact axial structure and in such a way as to guarantee comfortable damping behavior with the danger of slight wear in case of specified high torque transmission.
An outer radial support part 38 is circumferentially extended without interruption, and the outer radial support part 38 and an inner radial support part 40 receive a control element 34. The control element 34 is extended between an opened side part 42 and an axial support part 44 of a cover element 30. The control element 34 is so determined that an accumulator 36 is protruded into the cover element 30 with depth to come in contact along the whole breadth in the contact area of the control element 34 on the one hand while avoiding the entry of a torsional vibration damper 22 cooperating with the cover element 30 through the accumulator 36, into the engaged place of another member 24 on the other hand.
