Abstract:
A locking apparatus for preventing the unauthorized opening of vending machines of the type using either T-handle locks 76 or cam locks, including a retractable latch 36 for preventing operation of the door handle of lock 76 until the retractable latch is retracted, a mechanical combination lock 32 and flexible interconnecting means 39 between the retractable latch and the combination lock for retracting the latch when the correct combination is entered into the combination lock.
