Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for crime prevention, which enhances a burglarproof effect by preventing the illegal unlocking of a locking device for a door from a keyhole, even if a person tries to illegally unlock the locking device for the door from the keyhole, without reference to, for example, displacement in the mounting of a lock arm.
SOLUTION: A locking cover means 12 is mounted on a tip-side arm part 10d of the lock arm 10. The means 12 is equipped with a plurality of kinds of molded cover members 12a which are integrally molded into different block shapes by using an impact-resistant molding material, respectively. In each of the cover members 12a, a mounting hole for fitting a fixing screw 16 (fixing means) is provided on a back side facing the front of the door, when the arm part 10d of the lock arm 10 is in a locked position, and the fixing screw 16 is removed from the mounting hole 55 so that the cover member 12a can be replaced with another molded cover member, when the arm part 10d is in an unlocked position.
