Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the safe evacuation of passengers in an emergency by providing a locking device which is capable of supporting a movable platform fence on a platform with sufficient supporting strength in a normal condition, and easily and rapidly turning the movable platform fence to ensure an opening part for evacuation.
SOLUTION: This movable platform fence 10 erected along a side edge on a platform 1 comprises a support fence 10a fixed to the platform 1, a door pocket fence 11 which is turnably connected to a side edge of the support fence 10a approximately in the horizontal direction, and a door for getting-on/getting- off 20 to be opened/closed corresponding to a door of a train stopped at a specified position. The movable platform fence 10 is restricted on the platform 1 by a locking device 40, and the locking device 40 is provided with a striker 71 to be displaced in the locked condition where a forward locking part is engaged with a member to be engaged 80 as the turn of a link member by turning an operation lever 51 and in the unlocked condition to be detached from the member to be engaged 80.
