PURPOSE: To perform locking of a glasses frame for connecting a hinge (side joint) and a temple (earpiece) of the glasses frame used widely, and also to prevent the opening/closing state of the temple from being loosened, in a locking external thread member and a locking internal thread member.
CONSTITUTION: As shown in the enlarged view of a screw portion of a basic complete internal thread portion 5 and a follow complete internal thread portion 6 of a hinge 7 of a glasses frame, compressive force acts in the direction of arrows by the difference of pitches between P1 and P2 whose relationship is as follows; pitch P1 of basic complete external thread portion < pitch P2 of follow complete external thread portion, and screw threads of the basic complete external thread portion 2 and the basic complete internal thread portion 5, and the follow complete external thread portion 3 and the follow complete internal thread portion 6 are respectively pressure-attached in accompanying with the displacement (contraction) δ in the compressive direction in the elastic limit of the internal thread portion, thereby detent effect is generated. And the hinge 7 of the glasses frame tends to close inward by the displacement (contraction) δ in the compressive direction, and the temple 8 is so constituted as to be able to adjust the opening/closing state.
