To provide a locking management method and system capable of confirming a locking or unlocking condition without use of telephone and controlling lock/unlock of a window, a door of a building, etc. from a remote position.

The system has a centralized control device (CCD) 1 controlling an opening/closing part of a door or the like and the opening/closing part, based on commands input from the outside. The part has a lock/unlock mechanism 200 working on the part, based on the commands input from the outside and a communication means 20 receiving a command of the mechanism and outputting it to the mechanism and transmitting the information showing the locking state of the part transmits the information. The CCD communicates with the means 20 and the locking state of the part is transmitted to a manager to inform him thereof through an electronic mail. An e-mail sent from the maneger is received and commands are extracted out of the e-mail or a voice massages attached to the mail and either command is transmitted to the communication means.
