Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable dual locking structure suited to an air bag connector mounted, especially in an automobile relating to the locking structure of a short-circuiting contactor in a connector having a coupling detector.
CONSTITUTION: A locking projection 3h is provided in the covering plate part 3g of a short-circuiting contactor 3 loaded in one connector housing and by engaging this with a locking recess 4d provided in the contactor supporting room 4 of the other connector housing, primary locking is carried out. An insert locking piece 10 is fitted in from a locking insert hole provided in one connector housing and secondary locking is carried out by engaging the base plate part 3a of the short-circuiting contactor 3 with the locking projection 10b of the insert locking piece 10. In this manner, the short-circuiting contactor 3 is dually locked.
