Abstract:
To provide a locking tool setting device capable of easily setting a locking tool at a predetermined position in a mold, and a method for manufacturing a foam molded product using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a locking tool setting device 30 that comprises: a holding unit (a pair of right and left chuck members 50) that is capable of operating to hold and release a locking tool (clip 15); a pressing unit 42 for pressing the locking tool held by the holding unit; an action unit 41 for applying an external force; and an interlocking mechanism (40, 43, 50, 51, 60, S1, S2 and the like) that interlocks an operation of the holding unit and a pressing action of the pressing unit based on the external force from the action unit. When an external force is applied to the action unit in a state where the locking tool is held by the holding unit, the interlocking mechanism causes the holding unit to release holding of the locking tool, and in conjunction therewith, causes the pressing unit to press the locking tool toward a molding die 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
