Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain rapid transaction processing in a log file control system for a composite system constituted of plural computers.
CONSTITUTION: A buffer 10 for temporarily storing log data and a control table 11 for the exclusive acqusition control of the buffer 2 are developed in a semiconductor external storage device 1 in the composite system, a recovering file 4 is prepared in each computer and each computer completes transaction processing by storing log data in the file 4 at the end of transaction processing, exclusively acquires the buffer 10 in accordance with the control table 11 to transfer log data, and when the transfer request status of the buffer 10 is detected at the end of the transaction processing, exclusively acquires the buffer 10 in accordance with the table 11 asynchronously with the transaction processing and transfers log data whose transfer request is displayed to a shared log file 5.
