Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the logic circuit with built-in digital signal processor which does not require any exclusive operation check device and can check the operation of a MODEM device even after a facsimile equipment is delivered to a user.
CONSTITUTION: Two digital signal processor cores 15a and 15b are mounted in a gate array, a ROM with a built-in operation check program is provided and while executing the dummy device side CPU operation of the digital signal processor core 15b according to the operation check program, the operations of the other digital signal processor core 15a and a logic circuit 15c are checked.
