Abstract:

To easily prepare logo data adaptable to a target printer without any complicated setting work.

Predetermined control information is automatically set based on model specific information by providing an input means 15 capable of receiving model identification information and various kinds of setting information for specifying the model of the target printer, an original data acquiring means 11 for acquiring original data forming a basis of preparing logo data, a model specific information storage means 12 storing model specific information, a model specific information setting means 17 for reading model specific information of the target printer specified by model specific information and setting control information including a part or the whole of set information for preparing logo data, and a processing means 13 for preparing logo data by processing the original data based on setting information set by the input means or the model specific information setting means.
