Abstract:
To provide a structure with which locations of a lamp in a longitudinal direction and a rotational direction are determined in a predetermined direction, lamp mounting work is made easy, and the lamp is prevented from falling in the direction of gravity when the lamp is installed to a light irradiation device in a long arc discharge lamp having a light-emitting tube and first and second bases provided on both ends of the light-emitting tube.SOLUTION: On a side face of a first base on one end side of a lamp connected via a power feeding line, a recess consisting of a horizontal recess and a vertical recess is formed. An engagement butt is provided on a first lamp holder. A socket-type base power feeding connector is provided on a second base on the other end side. A pin-type holder power feeding connector is provided on a second lamp holder. The lamp is mounted to the lamp holder by moving the lamp vertically and horizontally during lamp mounting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
