To provide a long-term, continuous method and a device for administering carbon dioxide in which carbon dioxide is continuously generated controllably for a long period of time and the size of equipment is small and there is no problem in the appearance.

This biological and continuously long term administration method of carbon dioxide consists of: a process for discharging an acidic aq. solution from a storage vessel by chemical reaction with a gas pressure generating means; a process for dropping the acidic aq. solution to carbonate compounds or hydrogencarbonate compounds of solid and/or liquid; and a process for feeding carbon dioxide generated in a medium to be biologically used.
