Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to enhance the heat transmission efficiency of zigzag small-sized heat pipes by installing a forced circulation flow generation means to a thermal insulating part of a unit capillary or its extended part which constitutes a heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A forced circulation flow generation means 2-1, which forces a hydraulic liquid to generate a circulation flow, is installed to as an insulated part 1-A of a specified unit metallic capillary 1-1 of groups of unit metal-made capillaries 1-1 which constitute a loop type zigzag capillary 1 or its extended part. A static pressure drops from the inner wall surface of a heat receiving part 1-H of every unit metal small-sized pipe by a forcibly circulated convection flow of the hydraulic liquid. This static pressure drop activates dramatically a nuclear boiling up in the heat receiving part 1-H, thereby increasing the generation of vapor foam dramatically in quantities and volumes. In addition, the convection of the hydraulic fluid facilitates the transfer of generated vapor foam groups directed at a heat discharge part 1-C. This further activates the generation of vapor foams and further activates the nuclear boiling up and the generation of vapor foams in the heat receiving part 1-H as well.
