Abstract:
In a lost child image search system (10), a surveillance camera (22) is used to photograph a visitor from the front side in the vicinity of an entrance. An image processing unit (60) applies a first person shape template to the photographed visitor, acquires color information for a plurality of locations that are set in the person shape template, and creates an entrance image database. A companion who is searching for a lost child is photographed from the front side using a companion photographing camera (32). The image processing unit (60) applies the person shape template to the resulting companion image, and acquires color information for the plurality of locations. As a result, an entrance image that includes the lost child and the companion can be searched for using a matching image extraction unit (70). A facility interior image in which the lost child is photographed is then obtained by searching a facility interior image database (82) on the basis of color information for the lost child.
