Abstract:
A CCD camera (12) with objective (18) is used to take a succession of displaced pictures of a test card shown on a screen (E) under test. The picture displacement is obtained either by lateral screen movement driven by jacks (20) or by tilting a transparent plate (22). The operation of the jacks, transparent plate and camera are computer (14) controlled. Fourier transforms are used to form a new image for analysis from the oversampled image. An Independent claim is also included for: Test equipment which includes means to place test card on screen and low resolution CCD camera able to take series of stepped pictures and thus find defective pixels
